To a new studio, just around the corner
After searching high and low across the city for nearly a decade, Dock has finally found our forever home. The best part is, it’s just two streets away from our previous place. Result.
Our new studio is at Unit 5, 14 Brick Street, Liverpool, L1 0BN
Why have you moved?
We’ve been looking to drop anchor in a permanent port for years but we’ve never found the right place. Plus, we love the Baltic and didn’t want to move too far away. So when this building on Brick Street became available, we knew it was meant to be. Plus, the new studio has a very similar vibe to our last one, so it immediately felt like home.
How did it all go?
Better than expected. Our friends at Utility had kitted us out, and we wanted to make sure everything made the short journey without damage. We managed to dismantle the desks and pack our stuff before calling in the Merseyside Movers to help us with the heavy lifting.
The painters came in between Christmas and New Year to give the space that Dock-branded feel.
Are you pleased with the new studio?
Yeah, we’re delighted. We’ve always wanted our own space to secure long-term stability for the business. Not only that, but owning the building rather than renting on someone else's terms was always a goal. Our new studio gives us plenty of room to grow, with a bigger meeting room, a better sound system, two enormous heat pumps to keep things comfortable, and a snazzy kitchen and toilet facilities. It’s an all-round upgrade.
To cap everything off, we got the keys on the same week we turned 20. Pretty poetic, really.

There’s plenty of parking for when you come to visit.
You’ll find some free parking spots in the nearby streets, if you’re lucky, but, realistically, your best bet will be the reasonably priced car parks on Jamaica Street and New Bird Street. Both are only a couple of minutes away from our front door.
