We’re looking for a commercially minded, creatively sharp Social Media Ad Executive to join our growing team at Dock - a digital marketing agency based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.
This is a full-time, hybrid role (with two days a week in our Liverpool studio) offering the chance to work on a wide mix of B2B and B2C campaigns - from ed tech to e-commerce and public sector brands. The Role
This role is ideal for someone who brings 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn. You’ll be the go-to expert for performance-focused paid social, with plenty of room to contribute ideas and shape campaign strategies from the ground up.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, launch and optimise paid ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn
- Manage campaign builds, budgets, testing frameworks and audience targeting
- Write engaging ad copy and provide input or briefs for creative assets
- Monitor performance and make data-led optimisations in-platform
- Report on campaign impact, sharing actionable insights with the team and clients
- Collaborate with account managers to align paid social with broader campaign goals
- Stay ahead of platform trends, updates and best practices
- Occasionally support or advise on other channels (e.g. TikTok, Google Ads) if relevant
You’ll thrive in this role if you...
- Have 5+ years’ experience managing Meta and LinkedIn Ads in a commercial setting (agency experience preferred)
- Are confident using Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager - from audience building to advanced reporting
- Understand what makes B2B and B2C campaigns tick, and can pivot between the two with ease
- Know how to optimise for both lead gen and ecommerce goals
- Are analytically minded but creatively curious - able to spot what’s underperforming and suggest why
- Are proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines
- Work well independently but enjoy being part of a team that collaborates, challenges and supports
- Can commit to two days per week on-site in Liverpool
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Knowledge of Google Ads, TikTok Ads, or programmatic platforms
- Familiarity with public sector, healthcare or education campaigns
