Dock has worked with Simpson Associates for over 10 years, coinciding with a period of significant growth for the data transformation company. In 2024, Dock redesigned and redeveloped their website, delivering a brand refresh in the process. We continue to work with Simpson on their creative collateral.

The challenge

Due to recent rapid growth, the Simpson Associates website was no longer fit for purpose. 

With their expansion into new sectors, changes in audience, and the introduction of new products and services, the ageing, bloated site needed constant adaptations and bolt-ons to function. 

Consequently, Simpson Associates wanted a new website that offered a seamless experience and helped correctly position the organisation as consultants rather than salespeople.

The solution

During a series of workshops, we identified that a brand refresh would help redefine how Simpson's positions itself and communicates across their digital channels.  

We refined the brand creative, delivering a mini rebrand that formed the foundation for the website overhaul. Using Wordpress to redevelop the site from the ground up, we aimed the new design, coding and structure at promoting Simpson’s competence, trustworthiness and high standing in the marketplace. We created a new sitemap and information architecture based on best practices, analytical evidence and heat maps to create a clear, accessible content layout.

After migration, we worked with Simpsons to review, remove or rewrite content and strengthen their SEO by incorporating key search terms.

The result

Simpson Associate’s rebrand received a fantastic reception, leading to the creation of new sales decks, office collateral and defined brand guidelines. The website launched on budget, on schedule and in time for Simpson Associates to be named Microsoft Partner of the Year in June 2024.  Since launch, Simpson’s organic traffic has been up 30% due to the build quality of the site.
